Do we need a global treaty to manage a just transition?

This session introduces the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. This is a general session walking through the concept of a Treaty featuring the voices from their global network, including leaders from the Global South, youth, journalists, and activists.

They make a case for why a Treaty specifically focused on fossil fuels is required to compliment the Paris Agreement and to ensure an equitable transition away from coal, oil, and gas.
