Honestly, we need a lot more rides with scary animatronics. I’m sure it would create a great sense of fear while riding.

Fun fact: The Horned King was voiced by John Hurt in the original English version of The Black Cauldron. He also played Kane, the guy who gets chest-bursted in Ridley Scott's Alien.

Epilepsy is the least of your worries when the terrifying Snow White ride is on the video. I was always scared of this ride as a kid.

It’s tough to be a bug absolutely horrified me as a kid. I remember I couldn’t even sit through the full show after the seat effects and the spiders I had a melt down.

Actually fun fact: The Black Caldron predates the first LOZ game by 1 year, which came out in 1986

The fact that Disney now has ownership over Alien/Xenomorph now means that if they wanted to they can FINALLY do an Alien themed ride in any of their Disney parks after the past attempts of doing one especially with how far their animatronic tech had gone over the years. Question is that if they're willing to do so. I'm guessing maybe Hong Kong Disneyland since they're pretty famous for actually being willing to do scare mazes and attractions similar to how Universal does Halloween Horror Nights. Like their famous or infamous depending on how one feels about the idea their Nightmare experiment mazes.

Okay, real talk about Big Al. I first went to Disney World when I was 7 years old, and when I watched The Country Bear Jamboree, I enjoyed most of it (and this was back in the day when they played the whole show and didn't chop it up like a fish at a sushi restaurant)...that was until Big Al showed up. I was first confused when I heard those opening guitar strings. However, the moment the curtains opened on Big Al, I felt like I was that kid in that Simpsons meme that says, "I'm in danger." I didn't wanna go back in there again until I was in my teens.

Overall, I'm really happy to watch this video and to see that I'm not the only person who thought Big Al was terrifying as a child. My mom used to call me crazy for having this fear and she always forced me in the show anyway.

I remember going to The Alien ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter when I was a very young teen, it was terrifying my mother had to hold my hand the whole time, the ride is almost completely in darkness, the only thing you see is the tube and the screens showing you the video, when the alien escapes, the whole room is pitch black and those air blasters behind your neck have you thinking its right behind you, an experience i will never forget lol

During that scene in It’s Tough to be a Bug, I briefly stood up to prevent any seat effects to happen on me.

Okay. True story from when I was 5 (I refuse to say what year that was 😂) In the Bug’s life one.. when the black widows dropped, my dad thought it would be funny to put his spread out hand on my head.... acting like a I was sitting with my knees in my chest and it scared me so bad I LAUNCHED myself and ended up in another row of chairs 🙃 my nickname from then on was skip cause he says I moved so quick it was like I was tryna skip town 😂

Alien Encounter is hands down one of the best experiences I've had at a theme park. It was absolutely terrifying, and the concept is so dead simple and "low tech". Plunge a room into darkness and play spatial sound effects, basically. The part where it feels like the alien is breathing down your neck and skulking right behind you as you're trapped in your seat with the overhead harness...::shivers:: Still creeps me out and I'm nearly 40 now!

That journey to the center of the earth ride is gorgeous!! The lava monster is absolutely glorious. I’d love to see it in person one day.
