Sokka has a SECRET Daughter with Toph?!
Sokka has a secret love child that appears in the legend of Korra.. You see for the longest time Sokka’s life after the war has remained an incredible mystery, we really know next to nothing about him, and his life.. Like speculations have been made but nothing is certain.. Like many believe that some time after the war Sokka got dumped by Suki, but found comfort in the arms of Toph.. And as we know from the legend of Korra, Toph went on to have not one but two children, Lin and Suyin, Lin's father is revealed within Korra but her half sister Suyin’s father is never revealed.. So given that Sokka and Toph were very close with one another during their youth, and Toph of course had a minor crush on him at one point in the story, many take that to mean Sokka must have been the one to impregnate Toph with her second daughter.. But for this to be the case that would mean one of two things, either toph never told Sokka about his child or Sokka himself rejected her, both outcomes if true would result in one of the two characters being forever ruined.. But at the same time it would mean that the weird side of the fanbase was right to claim that

I feel like Sokka dying younger or atleast pretty early in their lives would give a lot of support to how Toph is portrayed in the flashbacks. Being a bit overprotective, especially of Sue, how she seemed really dedicated to her work but also very sad. And we did see in flashbacks that Sokka was targeted by criminals and worked on the council. Its possible that added to her to be more strict and dedicated to her work because she couldnt stop him from getting killed. Who knows, they may never give us the true answer!

My head canon is that while Suki was on a detail for Zuko, Zuko would send something of a blackops team to hunt down rumors about Azula and her cult. Either because of doubt about his relationship with Suki or any number of situations Sokka spent a night with Toph. Toph kept her second daughter a secret from Sokka, and he died never knowing he had conceived a daughter with Toph. Toph just keeping it secret to not hurt Suki. Or they are a throuple and everyone is well aware.

I have a theory! Sokka was k!lled by zahir and the red lotus. We know he died, and we know he helped against them. But we know nothing about him after the red lotus tried to kidnap 5yo korra. I think it's also better that he died a hero.

I’m pretty sure he was the Southern Water Tribes ambassador or something like that. But timeline being as I think it was, 😅, it’s possible he just died before Suyin was born. If she really is Sokka’s daughter. (which would honestly explain why Opal is into Bolin, the cheesy jokester.)

There was a comic made. It showed how Sokka was killed when he went to the North Pole and found out about the plan of the Dark Avatar. His heart was frozen and Katara found his body lying down some time later. She tried to heal him but she could tell he was already gone. It's a really sad story... Definitely Recommend Watching It Though 😊

Do yall just like never read? He's gone. And Toph wouldnt "be ruined" if she didnt tell him. He's been literally gone for decades. All they really mentioned was tbat he and Bumi were closest back when Bumi was a kid.
