Skar is what a Tyrant is. And there are Alot of those today

He represents tyranny, cruelty, and the lust for power. He doesn’t act the way he does because Godzilla locked him away down in that chamber. Rather that’s just who he is. Just pure evil. Great villain!!

Skar King is an example of how a good villain doesn’t need to be strong or have special powers. Intelligence is good enough. Just look at Scar from the Lion King and Plankton from SpongeBob.

Skar King deploy Shimo to take out Kong not because he feel he is overwhelmed by Kong, he actually deploy Shimo because he want to flex his asset

Skar is the perfect definition of a tyrant. 😤👑 And sadly, there are way too many like him today. 😡🌍 The world could use a lot less of that energy. 💔💥

Realistically he was originally made to be a reference to Stalin or Vladimir Putin because he is a red leader with an Ally that freezes things and makes it snow while he rules over a people that have no say and work for him to reinforces my theory the original Battle of the end of the movie was supposed to take place in Moscow

If you think about it the character Scar King actually resembles Chaos on Primal Rage and call resembles blizzard the good ape

Tbh, when i watched this movie, it reminds me more of the Planet of the Apes original book and the movie franchise over the years (1968-now)

He doesn't represent dictators, he represents presidents and prime ministers.

the only part i didn’t like about this scene was there was no sense of scale
it looks like regular apes, planet of the apes type shit
it’s not until the beach where you get a true sense of scale

Scar king represents the easiest way to have power, that we keep trying to teach people isn’t how you want to be as an adult. So the same thing as every other big bad.

It’s not really a cliche when Skar King is the personification of a real tyrant.

Of course nearly all of them are enslaved and subjugated by both his authority and Shimo’s power, even she was restrained by both the apes and that power crystal that caused her pain.

He rules with a complete malevolent fist and only has a select few that follow him. At least up until Kong frees them all and helps release Shimo from her constant pain.

"that's kind of cliché" so Kong should have left them to starve?
