at the end of Le Man, The Media and reporters were going to tear into ford for robbing their star driver, But he asked them “Be careful what you say to these people, they’ve been awfully good to me” so they didn’t.

Ken Miles is way too under rated. Guy is a legend beyond many. It's unfortunate what Ford did to him. Guy deserves much more.

This movie is better than entire Fast & Furious franchise. It touched my heart!

Not only was Ken Miles a racer, he was a father and a real hero in the hearts and minds of every one. A true inspiration for us all!

Christian Bale became Ken Miles and Matt Damon became Carroll Shelby, there representations of these two historic individuals was nothing short of Epic!

“If you’re going to push a piece of machinery to its limit, you have to have some idea of where that limit is.” Sage words, from a natural born driver… 😎

It's one of those rare movies which you just don't watch, you actually feel it.
Being an engineer I can totally feel what Ken was referring to "know the limits". Yes ofcourse the machine will not let you down even if you push it beyond the limit because it was designed to be with you all the time, It's like having a person on your side who will do anything for you, even if you demand a death of her. But if you are able to understand that even this engineering masterpiece has also its limits, respect it, don't hurt it. That's the exact moment you can call yourself "a driver ".

An excellent video btw.

“No promised me the drive not the win” perhaps the best movie quotes of all time. Nothing is ever promised in life but enjoy what you have.

My Dad was 16 when this race happened, and we went to see this movie in the theater about a year before he passed. He told me he listened to this race with some pals on a shortwave radio here in the states and they were locked into it the whole time. The local Ford dealership had gave hundreds of those portable radios away for free just for the specific purpose of listening to the race wherever you were because they didn't know if the local radio station would cover the whole 24 hours. The dealership name was stamped on the radios and he swears he still had it somewhere, I never found it. He loved this movie but hated the way they made out just that one guy as the enemy of Miles. Love you, Dad.

You could say, "They dont make movies like this any more!", except its a recent release so they do. I just wish they would make them more often!

Can you imagine someone asking Usane Bolt to slow down to allow his mates to do a photo finish.
EVERYONE KNOWS IT WAS KEN MILES WHO WON THIS RACE 💯🏎️🙏
