The first time I saw a GT40 I fell in love with it. Whether the film is accurate or not, it appeals to all that appreciated the type and style of car in an era when cars and drivers were seat of the pants, and was as much about competition (obviously 1st was best) as finishing. With modern cars almost the same under the skin except for paint work, not the same heart. I'm sure many will disagree. This is after all only my opinion.
