Is Corey Taylor an investor for Loudwire? Does he own part of the company?

He saw 'Buck Rogers' in an actual theater?!? The TV pilot had a limited theatrical release, so that's obscure! I remember being 5 years old when 'Halloween' came out, and all the older kids in the neighborhood were trying to figure out how they could sneak in to see it. It was on a whole other level for us kids. The movie we weren't allowed to see 😄

Mine's somewhat similar to his. I had to be all of 5 or 6 years old, and I was with my dad (I used to get shuttled around a lot between him and my mom - they were divorced when I was very young), and my uncle was trying to get me to watch Dr. Who late at night. He ended up falling asleep and I was going through my dad's video tapes trying to find something to watch and i came across a video tape with Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. I put it in not knowing what to expect and was just transfixed man. At 5, that should have scarred me for life, especially since the year before, A Nightmare on Elm Street had released and I was scared into nightmares for a week seeing Freddy Krueger. I was always a Jason fanboy. I had a glow in the dark mask and dressed as him for Halloween when I was like 7 or 8. Had a poster of part 7 on my wall, and went and saw part 7 when I was 8 or 9 (it released maybe 2 weeks before my birthday in 1988).

I was always fascinated by those horror icons. My grandmother would go rent them for me when I would stay at her house growing up and brought me Texas Chansaw Massacre when I had to be 7 or 8 or somewhere around there. I grew up in a weird family. I would NEVER let my almost 8 year old watch those yet, but he knows who they all are thanks to Mortal Kombat, so he doesn't fall far from the tree!

My mom & dad, particularly my dad, really liked horror movies. So, they had me watching horror movies with them, starting when I was 3 years old. I think that not only began my love of horror movies, but it's also why horror movies never freaked me out or gave me nightmares as a kid. I was used to them very early. The movie, that freaked me out & had me crying my heart out at 5 or 6 years old, was actually a Disney movie. It was Bambi, in the scene where Bambi's mother got killed.

John Carpenter's Halloween is my favorite film of all time. Now knowing that film is what got my mental imaginary husband into horror films, makes me love everything just a little bit more.

Even though I'm not really a super fan of Halloween, that scene in the closet where Michael's mask just slowly fades in from the darkness is one of the coolest shots in all of cinema, imo.
