What are your thoughts on this strange Ninjago trivia fact? 👀

Ninjago: *lets a cuss into an episode*

Also Ninjago: *censors Zane sitting in a fridge*

Like Jay said, "you should never swear, it shows bad verbal skills". I'd say it was a gag left by the early writers for Ninjago.

Surprisingly, the Netflix version of "Never Trust a Snake" still has the words "School Sucks" written on the elevator scene.

Maybe they thought that no one will pay attention to this microscopic detail. Also, the announcer was insulting himself so I don't think it's something very offensive.

I actually remember seeing "school sucks" written on the side of the elevator, but when I recently went back and rewatched it I noticed it wasn't there so I thought maybe I just imagined it.
Thank you Tanner for getting me one step closer to sanity.

So curious, for a show that erased the fridge scene I actually saw in Italian version, before it was censored; it was weird, but I don't think any Italian kid thought that sit into a fridge was cool and heroic. It was just weird, as lots of Zane's puns are. In English he says "party-pooper", that's heavier than the Italian respondant, but I bet nobody erased it.
The most censored parts, however, belong to Jay's lines: he always says the truth, he speaks about delicate and sometimes embarassing things. And sometimes he's the one who's embarassed, like the submarine scene and Maya's comments.
So, he could not tell aloud about Lloyd's growth in Season 5, but we can read this paper. Ok, at the time this show was new, there were no way to read that note, but maybe someone used a VCR... the one Master Wu uses to watch old kung-fu movies. It was already there. How in the world they made this happen? They could leave Jay's lines, they could leave Zane in the fridge and I could accept this bad word.
I am not going to drop the show or anything, but this is weird.

Element bending can be easily taken as magic or super-powers, but they are not. However I understand that in some places there are different way to see things. I could tell a thing or two about Italian adaptation of "Sailor Moon - Sailor Stars" or "Orange Road". We are not talking about those things.

Lot of times I reported a kind of weird censore Italian version made on an episode of Series 4, the Tournament of the Elements. When the Ninja are invited, they discover it thanks to some fortune-cookies. Everybody should know how Cole knows he has been invited, as he says. But in Italian he says another thing about how this cookie is easy to digest.
I really don't know why they did not leave Cole's original words: they were a bit sad, of course, but they were also a main part of the character's development. At that moment he was sure he was not appreciated and maybe the forgettable one.
Any viewer remembers this during the Versus episode, when the guards are talking: a guard says he wants Cole win... because he hates blue. So the guard wants Cole to win not because of Cole, but because anyone could be Ok if he or she defeated Jay. This tone lasts to the duel, but in Italian this is almost all lost.
Luckily, I bet that nobody here could read that note and we are Ok, for the moment.

The elevator... yep, I always have been thinking that the mirror wall was really lame. Now i know why they did it.

Why are you so surprised about this Cartoon Network had a Teen titans go episode involving beast boy shooting milk on everyone including Wonder Woman

Why is this making people upset there is alcohol references in season 4 and 5 not to mention both season 8 and 9 were kinda dark and this doesn’t bother me at all

This probably wasn't censored because it's such a tiny, hardly visible detail that was only on screen for a brief moment. Nobody would've paid attention to the card, and probably assumed it was just random gibberish. That's an easy thing to make it through pre-screening and before it got on the air. I bet whichever artist wrote that on the card was snickering the whole time.

Also I don't get why they censor the elemental powers in some countries. If they have an issue with the whole elemental powers aspect, which is a _major_ part of the show, just... don't air the show. There's way too many instances of elemental powers being used to cut away and have it still make sense.

I mean to be fair,

Since the card was shown at an angle where some of the words are kinda hard to read (well for me at least) and unlike the elevator scene with Jay in it, it’s much bigger and more legible to read (even though I do agree that the word “sucks” isn’t as bad of the word that was shown on the card) so maybe the editors and or the executives who double checks the show before airing it on the Cartoon Network (or insert whatever channel Ninjago airs in said country since I know sometimes countries have different channels) they probably didn’t notice that the swear word was there.

Also not only that, even if they did notice I think the editors or even the executors probably thought something like:

“I doubt no one is gonna pause and read the notecard” or something like that.

I'm not entirely surprised, because almost every kid show has some dirty joke hidden in it.

I am EXTREEMLY religious and i dont see anything wrong with the elemental powers. There is a difference between an inherited supernatual/fantisy ability and witchcraft and i wish more people would realize that.
