I'm natural blonde. On my New school, Everyone telled to me "Why your hair is that ugly?" every. time.
I was on a stept to have a breakdown. I really hate the school.
When it passed 1 year, I din't wanted to even breath anymore. So I decided something: I colored my own hair to Brown.
When I go back to the school, they said: "Oh, now you have a dirty hair?"

So I think the meaning of this song is about a childhood couple that slowly drifted apart and once they grew up the girl got married to someone who acts his age.
