For the last 30 years, Bruce Power has been a reliable, global supplier of Cobalt-60, a medical isotope used to treat cancer and sterilize medical equipment.

During our next planned maintenance outage of Unit 8 this fall, we will harvest enough isotopes to sterilize between 8 and 10 billion pairs of gloves, syringes and other medical devices.
