5 Indicators of a Wicked and Evil Heart

As Christian counselors, pastors, and helpers, we often have difficulty discerning between an evil heart and an ordinary sinner who messes up, isn’t perfect, and is full of weakness and sin.

Here are five indicators that you may be dealing with an evil heart rather than an ordinary sinful heart. If so, it requires a radically different treatment approach.

As an adult, I have come across 3 like these. Two were before I was saved. During that time one was a college friend and the other a room landlord. I lasted years having them in my sphere because I was always falling for their lies. The last one was a pretend Christian to whom I rented a bedroom it turned up worse than the other two. But thanks be to God, this time the relationship only lasted five months before I kindly gave her a month to vacate the premises. I am now learning to ask God for better discernment and not be too trusting of people. 🙏✝️
