Exactly the genre I was looking for to test with these speakers! Worried there would not be enough oommph but it sounds perfect!

The treble on the Klipsch speakers is already bright enough without EQ, that much boost on the treble is crazy in my opinion and makes them sound deafening in the treble but of course you decide what you want to use. For a Sound Demo video however i would suggest using no EQ at all to really show how the speakers sound.

Put your amp on top of the cd player, better for heat relief for the amp.

Sounds Great! Even though a lot of reviewers don't play music with the speakers they review. For obvious reasons I've always felt they should, so that someone could at least taste some of the sound. Other than just listening to their commentary.

Sansui good stuff, my father has a Sansui from 1969, still sounds great. I have Klipsch speaker cabinets, a miss match as one is a shorthorn and the other for 12" and is a Klipsch design, but no markings of any kind. I and have put in T-35 EV tweeters and one cab is for a 15 and the other a 12" one has an EV 15B the other a 12SB, these are industrial strength Electro Voice woofers, that can handle more power than you would ever need in a house, as at a watt or two it will blow you out of the room. I like the clarity, and realism they give.
