**OUTDATED** The fastest way to export videos in Descript

In this Descript tutorial, Ramdy explains how to export videos up to 10 times faster using the “publish to export” workflow. Because we have all lost too much of our lives exporting videos already. What would we do with that time back? What memories of love and light might we have?

This simple method is…well, it’s simple. You just go to the "publish" tab instead of the “export” tab, then download the video from the sharable publish page. In 99% of cases, this is the best and fastest bet—watch through the end of the video for cases where using the export tab is still the better option.

Hmmm "resolution max" but what about the audio quality? if I edit first the output options in the export tab, does this moves along to the publish? Audio is super important for me and in general this should be also a must. Because if you see the default settings, it's compressing the audio quality a TON. Imaging working hours on audio mixing, frequencies, expensive microphone, to just get the audio automatically normalized, volume downshifted and from wav quality to one of the simplest

I bought the yearly plan but I'm starting to feel that this does not worth it. 4h exporting a 6min video is just thrash, and a simple video without transitions, color/tone adjusting, etc... Just removing retakes, adding some overlays (images png) and that is it... :S

Guys, Please add Bulk Edit Option to apply to all the scenes!!! Please add Bulk Transitions add to all scenes!!! Please add several scenes selection option!!! Please add in BULK editing to apply to the whole project!!! It's been a nightmare to edit in Descript. It takes more time to edit each scene than ever. Losing patience.

can anyone explain why my colour grading gets totally wrecked when I import my video (and export or publish)? It completely changed my footage, and I'm not sure how to stop that.

Hey guys,
How do I export my video in its full size? My 2 issues on export is that a 2gb file becomes a 133mb (noticable decline in quality) exported file and it also desyncs video to audio (talking head video). However, it looks and sounds perfectly fine in the project. Desktop app on m1 mac. Thanks
