You assumed the power was off and didn't test it for any supply. You also didn't test the meter to see if it functions correctly. Never ASS U ME

Oh. I remember when i was conducted practical at my institution school they ask me to explain how do you test insulation resistance test then i explained but i reached there we say select the meter on 500 DC after that invigelator asked me why you put on that 500 dc i failed even today please may someone tell me why?
