The RGP's crime unit is appealing for witnesses to a number of robberies that have taken place this month.
Officers investigating three robberies and an attempted robbery have arrested a 37 year old local man and a 43 year old local woman. The man, Charles Dylan Peire, of Victoria House in Alameda Estate has been charged with one count of robbery.
The RGP is interested in speaking to anyone who may have been by the pedestrian footbridge in Winston Churchill Avenue at around 3:30 in the mornings of Friday the 11th or Sunday the 20th of April. The Police also believes that anyone in Devils Tower Road, between its junctions with Eaton Park and Shackleton Road, at around 3 in the morning of Saturday the 12th of April could also help with enquiries.
