Dr. Kane shares additional recollections of Booker's performing days at the Maple Leaf Bar, and the importance of a new documentary project covering Booker's life and music, Bayou Maharajah. The two poems read by Dr. Kane are Booker Again, from her collection Rhythm and Booze; and Elegy for the Piano Prince, from her collection Body and Soul.

True genius makes the impossible seem effortless and flowing. Booker had that talent. We are fortunate to have so much of his recordings around.

Those far too often, sparsely attended Maple Leaf shows that I attended are treasured memories. Thanks Dr. Kane. I tip a Dixie Longneck to you, 30 some-odd years younger, listening to James at a table across the room.

Genius all right. But he was a pianist and not a penis as you pronounce. For the rest of this English-speaking world, you said penis. I had to come and edit my initial comment, yes ma-am at the end of the video you correctly said pianist.
