Love this guy. Remar is a criminally underrated actor, some awesome performances over the years. Fired as the lead in ‘Aliens’ because of a drug habit, but hot clean and has had a distinguished career since.

Why are people getting so upset about this? The guy has some basic conversation skill in a language he is not supposed to know, how is that a bad thing? I'm not a native but is pronounciation wasn't all that bad. Get over it.

I've been studying Japanese for 8 months and I can somewhat understand the conversation:
- こんばんは (konbanwa): good evening.
- お元気ですか (o genki desu ka): how are you?
- 知らないわかりません。全然わかりません (shiranai wakarimasen, zenzen wakarimasen): I don't know, I don't understand. I have no idea.
- ありがとうございました (arigatou gozaimashita): thank you.
- だから、奥様日本人です (dakara, okusama wa Nihon jin desu): well, my wife is Japanese.

The reporter compliments him with 日本語上手ですね (nihongo jouzu desu ne): your Japanese is great.
