ADHD and Anxiety is the perfect combo for not getting stuff done and getting everything done

A cool secret feature of ADHD is forgetting to eat or drink until things start to get blurry and you realize you are dehydrated again.

Remember kids, having ADHD is not “quirky”. These things, in isolation, sound like “normal” things people deal with, but they’re all turned up to 11, and they happen when it’s most inconvenient....

Personally I would've gone a little deeper into the hyperfixation and rsd DLCs but overall solid review

ADHD is like living on top of an imaginary trampoline. You’re always exhausted and never want to do anything because you are constantly having to bounce because what’s even the point of being on a trampoline if you don’t bounce. But then you also are like, “what if I bounced all the way to the moon” and then you hyper focus on that.

Being diagnosed as an adult with ADHD 2 years ago honesty saved my life. The whole "im so tired because my frontal lobe is working overtime just to pilot my flesh mech" is poetically spot on.

my favorite Easter egg is getting up and walking into the hallway to just stand there for 5 seconds and then go back to your room and resume what you were doing, it just hits different

If you wanna know what bad ADHD is like, it's like googling for ADHD coping mechanisms, finding an article, but it's so large and intimidating you bookmark it for later.

this is unfortunately based off of several real life experiences.

My least favorite aspects of ADHD for me is executive dysfunction and procrastination. Although it does allow me to fully clean my apartment before a big test

Personalty I'd give ADHD a 2/10.

It combos well with "depression" (both gang up on your motivation status and absolutely destroy it) as well as with "anxiety" (adhd increase the chaos factor in you life and makes things more confusing while anxiety makes you feel bad about it).

I'd say these three are a perfect combo if you want to maximize suffering and struggle constantly without getting the proper help and support you need.

Good luck finding a terapist who will take you seriously and provide you with proper treatment!!! Make sure to prepare your entire life savings because even if you find one it is not going to be cheap at all!!!!

Remember kids "if they tell you to just focus up, know it's okay to give them a slap!"

Yea.. should've watched a review before I got ADHD. The hyperfocus just seemed so cool

Fun fact: the devs thought it would be funny to add a variant of ADHD called ADD, where the hyperactivity part of ADHD doesn't exist and you're just left with "dumb brain can't pay attention".

I'm constantly tired, I never seem to get anything done, and caffeine and heavy metal music makes me fall asleep. I'd rate the ADD experience a 3. I have no idea what the devs were thinking with this one.

Something I find with people with ADHD (as well as myself) is that compartmentalizing concepts or ideas is something you just... don't do. Everything in your brain is connected. It's why conversations with someone with ADHD just go P L A C E S.

Hi ADHD developer here. We're terribly sorry about the state of the current ADHD version. The original files were made a while back and the code is really hard to work with. We'll try our best to iron out the bugs and improve the feateres people are unhappy with. Expect an update anywhere between 5 to 6 eons.

I’m a procrastinator, I have ADHD, I’m a perfectionist, I have social anxiety, and I think I have regular anxiety as well. I can do my work quite well thanks to my perfectionism, and whenever I turn in an assignment I know that I didn’t do my best on, I’ll feel anxious and won’t be able to think about anything else but that assignment I didn’t do perfectly

The worst part about ADHD for me is my horrible memory. I can remember the most pointless parts of conversations but if I told a friend to go over to their house the next day I can expect a call out of the blue asking me where I am and if I still want to go.

Knew a guy with ADHD and his attention span was all over the place. The description of a wizard with only annoying powers is very on point. Thanks for the kindhearted review.

Oh man, I own ADHD myself. Didn't even know I own one in like 23 years of usage. I tell you, it's sucks. Any tasks done of other LIFE users is a Herculean feat but very good in like gathering useless knowledge and stuff from your hyperactive induced impulse buying, it has a feature of anyone in your life to say the word 'focus' a lot to you, and have a shit mental security making you susceptible to malwares like dyslexia, depression, and anxiety. Apparently, it was a good feature during the "Hunter-gatherer Human Update", but it honestly outlived it's purpose in the recent humanity update.

...and yes, it took me 30 minutes to write this.

oh my god hyperfocus, it's like when you find a game you really like and you end up playing it for 2 days straight and you end up realizing you havent showered or eaten in that time period.
and then when you lose that current hyperfocus you're looking for the next one, and if you can't find it you're feeling low and depressed, it's like crack or heroin lmao.

I remember seeing the title of a video that said "Could ADHD be an advantage?" and that kind of a statement has the same energy as "Do depressed artist make better art?" which are both such fucked up sentiments, treating these things like some magic buff for your stats instead of something people struggle with on a daily basis doesn't help anyone, and if anything is discrediting anyone's experience with it.
