I've had the base model M2 Air since launch day almost two years ago. This thing's been a beast. Handles everything I throw at it no problem. The Air's are great machines for most people!

I also have the same use as you have I use my MacBook Air M2 for light photo editing or to prepare my artwork and also for some admin tasks concerning art contests, exhibitions or managing my art business. For the rest I use my IMac but must admit that this M2 Air is more than capable I can´t wait to update to the M4 generation in 2025.

I bought my very first macbook and I chose the m3 air 16gb memory, so far it’s pretty good for my day to day task. What I love is the battery and it is very light.
I still bring my thinkpad e840 for my job task coz it needs of lot of installation p, multiple Vms runnung and I do lot of testing.😅 maybe im not used to the iOS environment or maybe I just don’t want my mcbook to have lot of burden since it has a limited resources.

MacBook Air 15 is my favorite Apple product, ever, followed by AirPods Pro. I do find 13-inch small for me but the 15-inch is absolutely perfect. It's slim, light, powerful, has a great display and perfect battery life.

Sorry, but I don't get it. I got the M3 MacBook Air 16GB and when I tried to reduce an image size in Preview from 9000px to 4000px, the spinning wheel appeared for 10-15 minutes. How is that supposed to be a powerful computer? That makes zero sense to me!

I switched to this from mac m1 air.
It feels 2x snappy than m1.
At first i didn't liked the design of this but now I'm used to this.
And i I don't like the wedge shape design. 😂
