OMG, i have been binging content on this printer, wondering if i should stop waiting for a prusa mkIV, and BOOM on one of my favorite channels the real details!

The carbon fiber rails are used for higher speeds. When the toolhead changes direction rapidly, the inertia is reduced quite a bit by CF; a lightweight material. I don't have the P1P's I have 4) X1c machines and I'm literally selling all of my other machines (FLSun, Creality etc.) I'm sure they will eventually come out with a larger printer, but they were a kickstarter, and the smart move was to start the much cheaper P1P's. to attract a larger base. I'm keeping my Prusa Mk3s but just for nostalgia lol

I bought an X1C because after 10 years I’m done with fiddling with bed leveling and extruder tuning and whatnot and just wanted something that would work. It’s not quite at the appliance level yet, but it’s much better than my other printers (Prusa, Elegoo, Creality, Printerbot) that I’m loving it. I could probably tune things and make it even better, but just with the defaults it’s doing a great job and produces fantastic output.

My p1p had a significant defect and is being returned as they can’t fix it. I’m glad you had a better experience!

Another great video sir! I have the X1 Carbon with the AMS. I order it the minute it went on pre order to the public. I have 1100 hours of printing on it and it's working great. The only issue I had so far was the coupler broke on the extruder holding the PTFE tube. I was able to still print, but I ordered a new extruder and was back up to 100% in no time.

I have had my P1P for about two months now. I absolutely love it. I have not printed TPU yet. I’m curious what your settings are. I have an ender 3S one pro and a Prusa MK3 that I spent too month building last year. I honestly can’t say I have not touched the end or in fact, I’m going to give it away and the Prusa very little use.

I got my P1P a couple of days ago (whilst waiting for BambuLab to have European stock of the X1C). And to be quite honest, with the amount it rattles about on the pre-sliced Benchy, I have no idea how it creates clean prints. I feel as if they have defied physics somehow. So far all good

As you know I bought the X1 Carbon a while back and I'm loving it. I sell a switch for swapping over from laser flat to rotary and with X1 Carbon what used to take me 2 Hours on my Tevo Tornado now takes me 34 minutes to print. The only issue I had is that the AMS doesn't seem to like cardboard spools so I printed out some spool inserts that let it run better. Also, people say the cardboard sheds into the AMS if you don't use spool edge adapters.

9:36 There shouldn't really be wear, it's more that the graphite of the bushing inserts is going to slowly rub off, and you'll get some graphite dust on the rods.

Started with 1 p1p ha it 2 months an just bought a second 2 weeks ago. Then just received my 2 ams units over the weekend so far they are awesome machines.

@OriginaldoBo Can you please share settings for 0.4 nozzle for generic TPU ? what Volumetric flow do you use, and other settings that affects on speed.
