How to Merge two Unallocated Spaces to One in Windows 10

Here, this video shows how to effectively merge 2 unallocated spaces to one in 3 situations.
Situation 1: there are 2 separate unallocated spaces on the same hard disk, and you want to combine them to one so as to create a larger partition.
Download and install MiniTool Partition Wizard, select one of partitions neighboring to unallocated space and choose "Move/Resize Partition" feature.

Situation 2: a 3TB or larger hard disk is divided into 2 unallocated spaces, and you want to merge them together so as to use all space of the disk.
Firstly, launch MiniTool Partition Wizard to get its main interface.
Then, select the disk which is divided into 2 unallocated spaces and choose "Convert MBR Disk to GPT Disk" feature from the left side.

Situation 3: 2 small unallocated spaces are located on 2 different hard disks, and you hope to merge them to create a larger partition.
Firstly, convert both hard disks to dynamic disk via the right click function "Convert to Dynamic Disk".
Then, create a spanned volume which can use unallocated spaces on 2 different hard disks.

This only works when all your drives or partitions are on the same disk! You can’t do this process when drives (C, D, etc) are placed in different disks (0, 1, etc). I cannot believe how many of these videos by tech experts don’t explain this!!!

My c drive complete one hard disk which is small. but 2nd hard drive have 450GB.
i want to move 100GB from hard drive 2 to hard drive 1. which have only one partition (c).

No need to download anything. Almost all of these steps can be completed in the Windows 10 built-in Disk Management that's shown in this video.

For example, in the case with two unallocated partitions you want to merge together, you don't need to switch to the software. Stay in the Disk Management window, right-click on left where it says Disk 2 and shows the icon, and select "Convert to CPT Disk" and it's done. You're now ready to set up your disk.

the newer versions of mini-tool do not function the same as older versions ...you have to pay for functions now. just about every action or function is grayed out in the new stuff....grrrr.

Thanks, solved my issue, the only true FREE software that lets you manage your unallocated disk space! I used v12.1, dunno why it didn't work for other people.
