I just had my father with Alzhiemer disease enter a nursing home and had to start understanding all of the ins and outs of Medicare vs Advantage plans. All of the folks involved in the nursing home system said they would never use an Advantage plan. After viewing this series of videos I understand why. Everyone that has a parent or spouse with a disease that could require a very longterm nursing home stay needs to watch this whole series. Thank you for these videos and clearing up a very confusing topic.

Thank you for the information it is very helpful. I have one more question. I am still currently working and currently have tricare prime. Do I still need to sign up for Medicare part B? Will I be penalized if I wait and cost more later?

I have been in a State Partially Funded Medicare Advantage Plan since 2006 and had no choice of the plan. 
Now I will have a choice. Am I eligible for Plan F?

If a retiree with Medicare needs long term care at nursing home for the rest of their life, but Medicare only pay for the first 100 days, does supplement Medicare pick up where Medicare left off and pay for the rest? If not where does he/she buy long term care?

I brought my insurance from my job. I'm retired with medicare. The only thing I pay for is Rx copay. But I would like to have dental, vision and hearing. Is there a plan that includes these services?

If you already have, for example a Medigap Plan G, and the company you go with goes out of business, (or choose to change because your company raises premiums exponentially), can you still maintain your Plan G with another insurance company without insurance underwriting?
