Thank you for the very clear explanation of the G plan. I am 80 y/o and have been on the F plan since I turned 65. I have never regretted that decision, and have had many surgeries and expensive tests since I turned 65 with probably $200 out of pocket in addition to my monthly premium. I am considering changing to G plan to decrease my monthly expenses, but was confused just how it works. You answered all my questions so well.

I took the F plan years ago at 65 because my wife had a lot of medical issues. Then I needed a handful of surgeries. It paid off for us and saved money. I am still grandfathered in and have no plans to change.

Wow. Very impressive presentation. I'm 62 and living overeas with local medical insurance. But it seems to make financial sense to get into A, B, D, and G so when I need it, I can go back to the US and get treatments with no waiting and no penalties for not having coverage.

I have Plan F and it is worth the cost, I found out when my husband had lymphoma, we paid nothing out of our pockets for his cancer battle.

G plan is great. If you qualify for the F plan, by all means grab it! I didn't. But, the G plan is excellent. I was hospitalized with severe covid for 17 days, was transferred to skilled nursing facility for 4 weeks, then home health care for 3 more weeks. After all of that care, I ended up paying $300 out of pocket. Outstanding! If I had an Advantage plan, $5000 plus any other outlying costs. I'll stay with traditional Medicare and my supplemental. ❤
