When I came out to my mom, I told her I was gay and that I had a BF. Bear in mind this was about 30 years ago, and things were different then. She had two questions. First question, "So, does that mean you wanna be a girl??" I'm like, "No mom, im perfectly happy being a guy, I just like other guys." Second question, "Ok. So is your BF gay, too?" I looked at her with a WTF? face for about 5 long seconds then burst out laughing. She didn't get the joke...So naive it was downright adorable 😃
