My son was 17 he called me at work and started crying he told me he was sorry that it was bad. He finally said he was gay, I told him it was okay, I loved him he had nothing to be sorry for. When I got home I just opened my arms and hugged him.

Imagine having supportive parents. That’s the life I want to live

People shouldn’t need to come out. A person should just be able to bring someone home and say ‘Mum/Dad, this is my Boyfriend/Girlfriend’

That people have to "come out"..have to say "sorry" and have to "cry" while doing it just shows that the world we are living in is just wrong!

My sister is gay, I didn't see how she came out because she's 9 years older than me, but she's depressed and when I was 9 (she was 18) my mom got her a sweater that said,

It doesn't matter as long as you are happy
You are loved

She was crying and it was so wholesome

I want to say, I'm religious and I still totally accept and love all walks of life, because you're gay, lesbian or bisexual or any other sexual relation love is love, and I want everyone to be happy despite who you love, be proud of who you are. ❤️

The one with the mother hugging her son brought me to absolute tears, every parent SHOULD be like her.

Ain’t even 1 minute in, I’m already crying. I’m so proud of them for being so brave to come out.

This video is so adorable!!! My family wasn't supportive of me coming out, but my friends always were, and after a few years my family is changing attitude towards it too!!

The first one. It was so pure. He was so scared but he did it!

I felt the same when I came out to my parents. But just hugged me and said “we love you no matter what”.

All parents should be like that.🙂

It took me six full years to come out of the closet, but I finally came out on January 13th. I’m gay and I’m proud!! Don’t be afraid to be who you are. Love is love!!

I know this might not be in my lifetime, but one of the only things that gives me hope is thinking that one day we won't have to be scared anymore. Scared to tell family, scared to hold hands in public. I want my future. I want it now.

I'm very proud of the person that was graduating & happy for them, cause that emotional build up of waiting for the right time, led to an announcement at graduation. Hopefully if there were other religions there, they weren't offended but honored to be in the audience during the most important, remembered and treasured moment of that persons life.

"I'M PROUD TO BE THE GAY SON OF GOD"

The most amazing thing is not only when parents accept it, but when they don't treat it as if it were a disadvantage or a disappointment. Some people say they are fine with it, but in reality they look at it as something negative. That mom who said "Don't be sorry silly, " to her son was so precious, and I hope one day everyone will look at coming out as a positive happy moment, instead of something. to be ashamed of.
