Shared this song with my then girlfriend about a year into our relationship.
Ended up being our 1st dance song at our Wedding last November.

This song came on while I was packing my room up and I was hit in the feels almost instantly. Made me think of old friends from highschool who used to be the center of my world. My bestfriend and I used to drive out in the dark to get away from the city and just sit and stare up at the moon. I'm finally moving on with my life but this song makes me pause and reflect. A part of me will always live here in the place where I learned so many lessons. It's where I rediscovered myself...

My 12 year old daughter found this song this week after we lost a very dear family friend. This friend was like an uncle to her. He listened to all of her problems and would always find ways to cheer her up. He did everything with our family and joined us on many adventures. We have adopted his 2 dogs that were in the house when he passed away. My daughter said she felt this song was perfect. It sums up her relationship with James, our friend, as well as his relationship with the his dogs. I can't help but cry every time I hear it. She'll be singing it at his memorial this week. What a powerful song!
