Silly me, actually expected to hear some serious answers to the question.

Great to hear from such a diverse range of people who have absolutely no vested interest to make one of the most pressing issues of our time seem trivial or frivolous.

the last guy
-then why not build robots to fix robots
-because they'll need to be fixed
-THEY CAN FIX EACH OTHER

Poor will be doomed and rich will be happy

It's just like the industrial revolution. Same discussion, and I'd say we turned out pretty good without repetitive jobs that machines do for us today

That was funny, "humans will have time for more sex!" But, will they be doing it with a robot or human? Ouch.

Post-scarcity is a paradise, not a catastrophe. Without the need to be bogged down with mindless work, we'll be free to pursue other interests. Science, exploration, and art for example. It's the same thing that happened when humans invented agriculture. Without the need to constantly pursue food, we developed civilization.

I think we will all be able to focus on our hobbies and do shit that make us happy. Watch some The Venus Project videos for an in-depth explanation of what I mean.

I think it be a good thing, like someone said we will find new jobs because we like to be somewhat busy. Those jobs might be to develop and be better human beings. It be less crime and stuff.

We will be fighting over food scraps in the streets as poverty will be rampant, this will lead to our own demise, and we become extinct like the dinosaurs, excel we did it to our selves.

I think the only valuable answere was: "Sitting on the beach, thinking about the great questions of life."
Because this is basically what the Industrialisation did. We dont actually need every person working all the time, to feed everybody.
More robots will just be more "slaves" to feed the upper bracket of civilization. Now it might be 1%, but in 100 years it could be 50%.

I dont see why we should care at all, about robots "stealing" our jobs.

If their were robots to do everything., we would be able to stop commuting for work and humans could start to leave less of an ecological foot print

Autonomous cars, trucks, trains, planes, and ships will displace millions of jobs within our lifetimes.

These are the ones that AI will replace first

Robots won't need humans to take care of robots. Robots will take care of robots. There will be robot doctors for robot patients, and robot veterinarians for human patients at the people vet.

I dont think we should be worried, the government will be forced to do something if a mass amount of people start losing their jobs because of machines. Or we will. Either way works.
