Easy Sugar Cookie Recipe! No Spread! No Chill!

This recipe makes about 24-20 PERFECT cookies depending on the size of the cutter. It’s a simple recipe that does NOT SPREAD! The butter being room temp is very important for getting the right dough texture. This dough has only 6 ingredients and is easy to roll out, cut and bake!

➤Ingredients:
1 cup Sugar (200g)
1 cup Unsalted Butter ROOM TEMP
1 cold Egg
1/2 TBSP Vanilla
1/2 TSP Salt
3 cup Flour All purpose(360g)

Preheat oven 325 degree F (I am using a convection oven, if you are using a regular one you may want to bake at 350 degree F). Mix the sugar and butter, stir often. Add egg, vanilla, salt, mix. Add flour slowly while mixing. Make sure it’s all mixed and dough like. Then flour some wax paper, roll dough out ¼ in thick. Cut cookies out. Bake on parchment paper for 9-15 min. Check on them by looking into the window, they will over cook fast! I like slight tan on the edges, but some people like them softer.

There is no baking soda or powder in this recipe, I think that is why there is such little spread.
