To make it short
What they made with the entire thing wasnt a nerf, it was a hotfix and some tweaks (if we dont count the kraken tentacles thing)
They kept the challenge the boss already has but removed the bugs
Thats why it feels like a nerf

1:55 the iframes did not apply because you stood up and then got hit. The iframes only apply when you are ragdolled.

For any one wandering from a gameplay perspective NIW is not easier with this update in fact it’s practically the same difficulty as the only hard part of NIW is phase 3 which got no nerfs and also the devs patched all speed methods to geting to guide so you can now loose runs at potato lord which is realy annoying so to sum up all this update did was make it harder for NIW and slightly make it easier for normal players

3:33 there's a good chance that they DID fix the player dying during the phase 3 cutsence as you didn't get pushed by conveyor when phase 3 started

Phase 3 don’t need a nerf guide has a pattern and when you learn it he’s really easy to kill
My friend taught me it and I went from dying within 30 seconds to being 4 hits away every time

This doesn’t look like a Nerf. This looks like a bug fix.

The cutscene bug makes it so that the attacks are still there during the cutscene
Like the wind still blows DURING the cutscene
And everything else

This nerf did NOT make the boss fight any easier, except if you're trying to get avatar

Sure getting comboed to death wont happen anymore and there's less tentacles which only reduces the rng in that boss fight but the thing is there were no nerfs to the actual harder parts that made the fight hard like the pushers sometimes spawning right on you and messing your camera in the 2nd phase or the fact that one mistake with the golem which is really easy to make could sell you the whole fight

The whole thing up to phase three is a breeze (well phase two is a little chaotic) but ofc the dreaded guide 1v1 is just way to rng and for a mobile player, flicking is way to hard. So I’d really hope he is nerfed so he has a bigger hitbox and doesn’t completely anime me out of this world.

What really needs a nerf is potato lord. When you hit him with the potato he runs up to you with basically double your speed and then “there goes my nah I’d win run :/“

Honestly the tentecul nerf is a blessing to us on Xbox because we can’t zoom to far to see past walls and the tentacles would just keep hiting us

Ok, here is my experience with trying to get Avatar, Slapstractor is not hard but not easy, but Guide is insane, it makes people think that he can read minds, but Guide has bugs, here are the bugs:

1. When Guide was ragdolled, he had the flash activated, he passed into me and slap me when we was still ragdolled.

2. When i was about to win, Guide instantly disappeared out of the platform, and i was devastated when that happened me like 3 times.

Slapstractor's bug was fixed and it got a bit nerfed, but Guide got a slight buff, but still have bugs.

(And i like the bossfight, is challenging and entertaining, but it stills have bugs that the developers haven't notice it yet)

nah i'd win is barely any easier, guide's and potato lord's hitbox is too big and iframes dont exist you can still die by meteors. tencell is fr lying i hate this update they fixed /e dance2 cheese and lied abt the other updates

For anyone like me wondering that iFrames are, basically iFrames are frames where you can't take any damage at all. Because of the combo potential on phase 2 with kraken tentacles and meteors they added iFrames for everytime you get hit.

But sadly, the glitch that makes you go outside of the map is fixed. At least the guide got nerfed so we can get avatar easier :D

These were mostly just the bugs that made guide boss unfair, and it was only being nerfed by having less tentacle spam
