We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. Florida never gives a 3% COLA per year. In fact, we went 10 years with a total $2000 COLA in that entire 10 years. And they made us start funding our own pensions, so we actually lost money over that period.

Pension estimates seem off. Retiring at 100% is very unlikely.
