NOTE: I did make a mistake in the video. ROTH IRA's are not subject to RMDs (required minimum distributions)

I hope that this video gives you a great overview of the differences between them all so that you can choose the best option for you.

The utilization of after-tax money and tax-free growth makes opening a Roth IRA very advantageous. Through a careful guidance of my FA, I did not pay taxes on my withdrawals of $875K when I retired.

I know that Time in the market beats timing the market, but with inflation's impact on the cost of living. My concern now is ensuring a comfortable retirement, If i retire with only $500k it will run out quickly if inflation continues to erode its value

I need a way to draw up a plan to set up for retirement while still earning passive income to meet my day to day need and also get charged lesser taxes even while in a higher tax bracket.

My strategy is to put half my income into the stock market at the start of every month, regardless of what is happening.
The second part of the strategy is not to sell for at least 15 - 20 years. Time in the market beats timing the market.

We experienced the peak of our era, and now it is gone. Recession is tanking everything including 401K. My retirement equities portfolio of $750K is in the reds. I keep losing because of inflation. This world will fall to the corrupt rulers in the same way that Rome did. I'm sorry if you're thinking about retiring and you're worried that your pension won't be enough to meet the rising cost of living. Horrible foreign policies everywhere, bad regulatory policy, bad fiscal policy, and bad energy policy.

Thank you so very much for your video! The sound was very good: the rainstorm was not heard. The black board with the main points truly helps in understanding the main topics. Thanks again!

Good explanation. Roth is the way to go at least for most public school teachers/principals - From a veteran teacher and principal (51 years old). If you can pay tax now vs. later when tax rates may revert back to 2017 rates do it. An educator's fixed income during retirement (pensions are typically a little lower than salary prior to retirement) along with social security will likely keep most in the same tax bracket.

After a massive rally in stocks came and yields collapsed, bond yields and the major averages are higher on Wednesday. How do we deal with such market conditions? Typically my $2m worth of holdings go up 8% then lose 20% right after and the cycle continues.

Thank you for the picking up excellent topic, however as you mentioned rain sound I didn't hear any rain. Your sound quality is perfectly fine! Hoping some more video's on rolling over to Roth IRA from Traditional 401k.

While your 401(k) and IRA account will likely continue to grow after you stop contributing to it, that growth will be limited by the market, your plan’s balance and other factors, so i can perceive the preference for Annuities, I still want to know how best to compound at least $2m in retirement savings without holding cash.

I'd be retiring or working less in 5 years and I'm only curious how people split their pay, how much of it goes into savings, spendings or investments?? I earn around $165K per year but nothing to show for it yet
