When the animal quit crying he must have realized how good it felt! Admire the compassion you have for all the animals you shear.

It is hard to hear his cries. Knowing that you will make his days easier is a comfort. Poor baby!! Good groomer.

For his first time I was amazed at how little he reacted. It appeared the trimmer noise near his ears bothered him more than the feel. Of course, not carelessly nicking his tender skin contributed a great deal toward his overall trust and comfort with the whole process.

The best part about watching these videos is imagining how good it feels after it's over.

Poor noodle - so hot, scared and no idea you were helping him. I bet he felt better at the end. I’m glad he ended up somewhere that was willing to make him comfortable.

I'm a 72 year old active woman who happened upon one of your videos and I was hooked. Being a farm girl, animal lover and mountain climber, I could not imagine carrying all of that extra weight around! Love the compassion that shines through!

I really liked how you took the time to explain the noises that he was making and why. You didn’t laugh at him but you were sympathetic and empathetic- that’s great and a good example of how the rest of us should be around animals

The way you explained the noises he was making shows how deeply you respect and care for him. I really appreciate it. Keep it up!

Poor distressed floofer. You handled him so well, and I'm glad he didn't flail around too much. He must be so much happier!

This is not just a job. It's a calling. Making life better, one llama, Alpaca, and sheep at a time. I'm sure it's hot tiring work but it's satisfying to see all the blankets removed and the animals look great afterwards.

I really like the way you handle animals. I'm a veterinarian technician grew up around stock horses cattle and you are confident in animal feels that you move smoothly and fast and you treat the animals you humanely. Thank you for your service to the llama the Sheep and any other animal you work with

He did really well for his first haircut. He must feel so much better now. Texas heat is no joke! I can't believe the amount of fiber/blankets that were in that trailer! Nice job!

You are the best.
So compassionate and professional.
He must feel ten years younger and more pain-free from the weight.
Thank you.

I've seen you do some overgrown coats before, but that was crazy. I'm thinking his previous owner thought it would be cool to have a lama as a pet, but had no clue how to properly take care of it. It's a good thing that farmer snagged him at an auction.

I live in an area where shearers are more concerned about speed than accuracy. Our flocks bear the scars of that priority. It’s a pleasure to watch you work. I love watching you care for these animals!❤️

Even if he is not perfectly trimmed he is trimmed well enough that he can remember what it is like to me a llama. He can feel the sun and the air on his skin and roll in the dust like nature intended. He is free again!!!
