If there’s one thing I’ve learned from the hoof GP it’s that it doesn’t need to be pretty, the only thing that matters to both the animal and the farmer, rancher, dairymen etc is that no matter what you do to an animal, whether it’s taking care of their hooves or shearing their fleece functionality takes priority over looks every time

My great grandfather had sheep in the 40's- 50's and 60's in the coast range of Oregon. I've seen very strong men sheer sheep and you're the only one I've seen that makes it look easy. It isn't. It's extremely hard work. You have a gift!

Every video I’ve watched before has the sheep shearer leaving bloody cuts all over. This sheep shearing is so incredibly done. They are so gentle.

I never get over how much you care for the animals. Remarking on how the weight of the fleece was pulling on her skin, keeping her in a good position while you sheer, and going for efficacy over looks. The thoughtfulness radiates out of you at all times. 🤩
