2019 F-150 5.0L. 6" Lift on 35's. Flowmaster Series 40. Got my SCT BDX tuner today. Came with S&B Cold Air Intake. Did the intake first. Test drove. Very kool. Not too noisy like my Roush I had on my '12 F-150 5.0L. Anyhow, downloaded the tune. I got the 3. 87, 91 and 93.
WHOA!!!! What a difference. This truck hauls ass and thats just the 87 tune!!! Huge difference in acceleration, shifts points and RPM (6500). Wow. I am impressed. Best $729 dollars spent on bolt on performance. I'm not even concerned with putting 91 in and trying that tune. How much faster can it go??? Seriously. For those that don't see results on this 87 tune, their something wrong with yours. It seriously burned the rubber off tires in 1st and spun in 2nd. I think it almost chirped going into 3rd. BEAST MODE!! Thank you Stage 3 and SCT!!!

Does this tuner allow me to calibrate my speedometer because my speedometer is off from my truck having bigger tires

55 hp? 45 lbft of torque.. is that curve gains or to the peak power. Because to get 55hp out of a N/A engine from just a tune is crazy

I’m going to go with the S&B cold air intake. I saw how you tune this with impressive results. I’m doing all this to make it easier to tow a 34 foot travel trailer. I read somewhere that if you do this tune, Ford will void the warranty. Now that the S&B is CARB certified with an EO #, is this still true and if so, what’s the reasoning if it improves performance?

Also, like your truck, I put a 2.5 inch leveling kit in mine. I’m planning on changing out to fuel wheels and Nitto tires, the Ridgeline Grappler.
The salesman at the tire store Where I had the leveling kit put on states I can put 18x9 wheels with a 35 inch tire and they will fit without rubbing. Is this true in your experience?

Have you experienced any of the questionable noises from your 5.0 F150? Such as the knock at idol fro mthe engine area and the transmission shudder when you let off the gas (cold)?

Did this intake increase the whistling sound that the 5.0 makes around 1500-2000 rpm? I could notice the whistling with my stock intake, switched to K&N and it is almost unbearable. Thanks

Question. Do these tuners also disable start stop? I want more than just a start stop disabling tuner but don’t want a tuner without that ability if that makes sense

The stock air filter is not restricting hp. The 450 hp Raptor use the same air filter.

If you're trying to get a truck and tune it and just do a bunch of stuff to it. Don't get a new 2018 or 2019 with warranty since you'll void the warranty and that'll be a waste of money.
