The carrots will need sandy soil so they grow straight. Otherwise, they could be fun crooked carrot shapes.
The peas can burn when growing but that's got some nice cover .
It's really good what you are doing!
I have to be careful with extreme sun and slug and insect predation. It is a multi layer skill set that probably never ends. 😺
In an ideal world children learned all of this at school.
