A quality Black and Light Maple chess board produced by chess artisans, Rechapados Ferrer S.A. of Spain. High grade veneer construction, using contemporary fabrication techniques has produced a board with clean lines and critical detailing, finished off in a high gloss lacquered coating, accentuating the grains. 
The solid Maple veneer combined with modern printing techniques produces a board with the darkest black squares, creating a board with the greatest contrast. This contemporary board is simply seductive and a beautifully veneered grey wood base adds the finishing touch.
