Interesting fact about the holodimor: it was caused because Stalin wanted to get rid of the kulaks (private princes of small regions of the former Russian empire) but When he kicked them out of Russia and they fled they took all the supplies of food that they were ganna use for the civilians, then leading to the holodimor.

Years ago I read a book called citizen X about this guy. He was a school teacher. He had gotten cought several times messing with kids but becouse he always song the rraises of Russian communism the charges never stuck.. In Russia you can get away with anything as long as you openly talk about how much you love the leaders.

I've seen other people mention it here, but I'll add to the cacophony: there's a pretty good movie (I'd give it a 7/10) based on this called Citizen X I recommend watching before or after listening to the podcast.
