New Hyundai Ioniq 6 - better than a Model S?

This is the all-new Hyundai Ioniq 6!

It’s an all-electric saloon coming in from Korea, and based on looks alone, it’s fair to say we are very excited!

For starters, just look at it! Following in the footsteps of the IONIQ 5, Hyundai has yet another great-looking car on its hands. It’s got strong concept car vibes and looks pretty futuristic from the front bumper through to the rear.

On the inside, the good looks continue, although it’s much more subtle and sophisticated compared to the exterior. There are a number of physical buttons, coupled with a relatively simple dual-screen infotainment system.

In terms of performance, there are likely to be a number of battery and motor options, with the range-topper packing a 77kWh battery pack along with dual motors, which should deliver 306hp. However, we’re expecting an even more powerful model to be released in the future!

As someone old enough to remember the Hyundai Excel of the late 1980s, it is truly amazing how far the company has come in terms of design, quality and innovation from that time. They've been making reasonably acceptable cars overall since the mid 2000s, but past few years they really have upped their game, and this car seems fantastic in every way. Just hope they don't keep upping the prices too much!

Love Hyundai - KIA - Genesis .. this Trio to me is actually putting out affordable cars that have style and finesse .. as well as taking cues from actual owner and drivers .. as you said .. the Trio actually come very close to producing their prototype vehicles .. giving the customer what is ‘actually’ promised in a prototype .. this family sedan reminds me of an Audi A6 or Mercedes CL shape .. the exterior light show that most all new EV’s are are projecting for their drivers are outstanding and the Ionic 6 does NOT disappoint .. I can hardly wait for this vehicle to become another beautiful vehicle in the Hyundai family 👍🏽

Short front overhang, long wheelbase for cabin space, fastback for aero as well as the large and real spolier+diffuser?! It does not look as the best car out there, but it does look different and practical. I can see the conflict between the design and engineering teams. I am glad that there is some exciting product coming out and I think it's exactly what is needed in this increasingly dull industry.

This has so much sporty potential, swooping coupe style on the back looks great already. But the front has the opportunity for so much extra aggressive lines and scoops that could make it look nice as a sporty ‘N’ variant

Fair play to Hyundai and Kia for putting in so much effort into the looks of their cars. Looks like the love child of a 2005 Mercedes CLS, with a Porsche 911 to make up the rear and the front of a mixture of a Mazda MX 8 and a Noble M600.

For the first time, I’m gonna discord with Matt! Hyundai of 10 ago was on “fluid sculpture” school design. The 2010’s Azeera was one of the most beautiful saloons I’ve ever seen....
