This lot of Dewalt tools are in from all different customers, so iv gathered them all up to do all together.
It's interesting to see just what can be fixed from one brand on any given day.

Tools are becoming just like new cars every year they get more and more complicated. The throwaway society is becoming even more ridiculous. Why can’t things just be simple. The old simple tools lasted a whole lot longer than.

Was a fan of Dewalt before, but stopped being one after watching your videos. Will buy only Makita from now on.

WoW, So many DeWalt's. Love the video as always. Specially the Planer as that's the one i have. Give's me something to do on the next rainy day, To check the bearing in the plastic housing. Thanks again for the content.

13:00 – when working one-handed, I turn the toolholder so it's facing downwards, then I pull the sleeve forwards. good old gravity drops the bit into my tool pouch or my palm or my pocket. takes a bit of practice but sure as hell easier than screwing with two springs if things go wrong. that fancy feature is really just... a fancy feature =, =

I'm still amazed by how the heck the first impact driver bit got so stuck on. of all of dean's many videos, this one single repair is the first that really made me go holy fecking all that trouble and time just because someone couldn't be bothered to wiggle the bit and make sure it was in properly.

and how the heck did dewalt manage to make their impact drivers so damn complicated? do their engineers have to go through some sort of special training to make their machines so weird? and I wonder what the turnover on their assembly lines is like. folks must be going nuts and quitting every week lol.

I thank my lucky stars I happened to buy makita when I went cordless. Never had a fault that I couldn't repair myself using simple common sense. If I had gone dewalt, with the number of nuts I have to sink each day, fixing those things would have made my nuts go nuts.

That was tough one to remove out of that tool holder on that very first drill Have you ever removed something stuck in a drill before

Not a bad fix score on all the Dewalts.
On the mistery ball: it might have came from the impact piece. For example the bigger impact Makita drivers DTW1001 have a bunch of these balls in em.
Don't know the deal on the Dewalt ones. But I do agree it rather had the size of a toolholder ball.

Build quality on the jigsaw doesnt seem bad at all, just need to come up with a better seal to keep the dust out.

You would think that there would be more protection to the spindle bearings on a planer. Just looked up the parts diagram of the Makita one. Its the same, just bearings on a shaft.
Should have at least an aditional washer on the shaft to act as a debris shield or a primitive labyrinth seal like ive seen on some Makita sanders. Its just a plastic washer with a deep groove on the shaft and a corresponding ring on the housing but works wonders to shield the bearing.

Great job on them all! I’m just curious though, when reassembling the jig saw I did t see that housing gasket go back in place between the shells. Was it not needed or didn’t you film it? Anyway, thanks for taking us along once again, you’re a regular fountain of knowledge! 👍🏼👍🏼✌🏼

Thanks for another lesson session. I have a quick question. Would one of the motor bearing rubber cushions off of a Makita have worked in a pinch?

Dean seems to have misunderstood the term "impact driver" at 2:40.

Blowing the nail gun with the compressor to remove the solvent would be adding a bit of oil to the flywheel, wouldn't be a wile lot but still not grate?
