Here's a very specific pair of intermediate to advanced tips: Do Yuanhua's quests as soon as physically possible every single time, because the rewards for them are some of the most useful in the game (especially the Luan skills.)

Luan battle arts in general are also absurdly powerful despite their huge cost and absolutely worth mastering, especially later down the line. Ice Luan is both a Luan battle art and a Yuanhua unlock at the Hero rank, and yes, that 7 Bravery (6 when mastered so get this done asap) isn't a joke, but it's for a good reason: This skill does obscene damage. Its Sp status is only secondary, because its real purpose is oneshotting every peon and most weak officers in a massive area. This is a nuke that just happens to also counter attacks. Tempest Dance is also very good, because it's cheap, hits a huge area, sucks in enemies, and does plenty of damage.

You can get the halberd for free super easy! After beating the campaign, go back and replay Hu Lao Gate on any difficulty. During the battle, beat Lu Bu and he will drop one 😎

you can unlock the halberd by killing Lu Bu in the wei battle for puyang chapter 3 after finishing the story (on any difficulty).

Just finished chapter 4 on hard difficulty and the halberd dropped on the mission. T7 with 4 sockets though

I got a question. You mention the true ending a few times in the video. Is trying to save certain characters like Sun Jian and all on the first playthrough not recommended? When trying to save Sun Jian the first time, Grade 4 weaponry is only available at the time and that one phantom in that one battle is just too strong.

This game does NOT live up to the hype. It’s a “choose your path” type game, but dialogue options are literally 2-3 version of the same response, as there really is little to no choice, because the game keeps you on rails for the majority.
The vast majority of the characters, weapons, and like 2/3 of the story are cut.
It’s hyped for its combat, but with almost non existent hit detection (except on your own character), and enemies that are as spongy as ever, combat is a tedious slog of fighting the same generic enemies for hours on end. Because if you leave an ally to go help another, they die. If you leave to get health. They die. The AI Allie’s are worse than ever
