Contribute to a 401(k) is good. Maxing out your 401(k) is better if a low cost index fund is available. I made a lot because I maxed out !😮

Yeah, but some of us religious people don't earn money off of interest. We as a human society failed to share the world, but built a system of slavery and interest and.taxes. We were from thr same fsmily of Adam and Eve. God blessed the world and its resources equally for everyone to use united. Also work and live united, over trying to compete or steal from one another.

Your elitist attitude is showing yet again, Mr. Ramsey. When you’re scratching for survival and trying to make ends meet with eating ramen noodles for dinner, three nights a week or more, there is no money to put aside for retirement. You need to start giving advice for low income people not people who owned a $300, 000 house and have $1 million in the bank. Because I was on the lower end of the spectrum would love to have those problems. But it’s not written in the cards for us. Someone has to be low income and I think there’s quite a few of us so maybe you should dual out some of your expertise for us.
