Praise the Lord constantly reminding me through the preaching of the word that what it contains is true whether I believe it or not, or feel like it or not. Bless the Lord that his promises are fulfilled not dependent on our feelings.

Paul said God will sometimes leave you.. Jesus promised to never leave or forsake believers.

I dont believe that He actually leaves but withdraws His presence from us. Especially if we are consumed by wordly things or are doing something He told us not to.

I get those periods of not being overwhelmed with Gods presence but He promises to never leave or forsake. So what Paul said is false. Maybe he meant that when it seems like He leaves you.

I’m not very obedient to his word or I don’t exactly keep his commandments as I should. So I must not love him as I say I do. I’m terrified to meet the Lord. I’m afraid of what he may say. I honestly don’t think I’ve been saved after all these years. All my repentance and confession of all my sin everyday must’ve been a VERY deceiving work of the flesh and I haven’t truly been regenerated or born again. I need some prayers if anyone feels led to pray for me.

I agree with so much stated here, but the Lord does not remove his love for us. We feel the lacking in his love because we fail to do right, to honour him, not because he has removed his feeling of love from us.

Great truth. This meets many where they are at or where they have been or will be. It gives glory to God and robs us of any entitled, Nebuchadnezzar pride. (look at what my hand/holiness/good choices have made)

This is the place God does his greatest work. His arm is not too short to save and arrogance and pride are abominations to him.

Even Job's friends offered their own advice. I only listen to God. All of these spoken and unspoken words against what yall don't understand, has nothing to do with why I was placed here. I've been rebuilt. I've been in the presence of God. I've seen miracles man could never duplicate. Everyone is bent on self and succeeding in their own ways. God is the restoration of the Church and I bend not to the standards of men. But It is in him alone I stand!
