HEADING TO NEW HORIZONS

On Saturday, 27 April 2024, PROTON took another step in its vehicle development journey with the opening of the PROTON R&D CENTER (China) located at the Geely Research Institute in Hangzhou Bay. Tasked with developing the next generation of Proton vehicles with close collaboration from Geely, the new centre supplements existing R&D facilities in Shah Alam and Tanjong Malim and will help accelerate the adoption of new technologies and the training of PROTON's home grown engineers while introducing new competencies to Malaysia's automotive ecosystem.
