Germany also did testing, I guess 3 times in last 1 year.

I wish people would stop saying that you can ALSO stop these Emergency alerts on Android phones. I have an EE ROOK and there is NO such setting. One person left a comment and said to go to settings and click on the magnifying glass icon and type in “emergency alerts”. Actually, it does NOTHING when you type this in!

I turned mine OFF on Sunday and it was OFF for a few days. Some people “claimed” (prior to the alert) that if you refuse these alerts your phone will NOT work correctly. Also, someone said that when you turn it back “ON” it will STILL sound the alert. Funny thing though, when I turned it on a few days later the alert did NOT sound. However, someone rang me four hours later and when I said “HELLO”, it turned itself OFF! ! So, they had to call me back. Suspicious, eh?

Is this the government’s way of saying “SCR*W YOU FOR TURNING YOUR PHONE OFF”!
I “believe” that they MAY have installed something on my phone. That was WHY I turned it off on Sunday as I suspicious of this. So, was it pointless me turning it OFF on Snnday? Time will tell if it continues to turn OFF.

I always say that if you NEVER trust the government you will NOT go far wrong!
SUSPICIOUS, SUSPICIOUS, SUSPICIOUS (INFINITY) Get the idea?!

Has this SUSPICIOUS glitch happened to anyone else????

I didn't get the alert on my iPhone and Android (I use both), I was in London yesterday.

All of our phones went off, except for an old iPhone 6. Includes Samsung, Xiaomi and an iPhone 11. I totally forgot about it, I was hanging up laundry and my phone started squawking...

So if these are used to warn you of danger near you it mean the government are tracking where you are. I had these alerts switched off since they were sneakily added to our phones during COVID. I have survived 51 years without them so far. I don’t want to live in a nanny state thank you

My friends mum didn’t get this alarm.
I was at a hockey match and the match ended when the test happened.
Should she be concerned?

Half a century without Government emergency alerts told me to turn the alerts off! I don't need them. Like I don't need the Government to convince me to sacrifice my offspring to illegal war while they head out into the ocean in their luxury yachts!
