Yes because we always have severe weather here in the UK. They must think we're all stupid. 🤦🏼‍♂️

This is just terrifying for me, with the war and threat of nuclear weapons, I fear this alert is actually meant for that and they know something but they won't say it. There is no where safe to hide in the case of a nuke where I live, zero bunkers, so that alert is meaningless, it'll just warn me I'm about to die a horrible death, great, in which case I'd rather not know. This is just skyrocketing my anxiety, I'll be constantly scared that nuclear alert could come any minute.😣

Someone else said this on another video, but I’d avoid roads that day. The amount of people that’s gonna scare is gonna be insane.

This is clearly for war not weather. We’ve had weather like this for years where every now and then we will get some dangerous weather but why only make it now as there’s a growing war and secondly why use such a tone if it isn’t for a very serious thing like British weather?

Turn the wireless alerts off in your phone! Stop government invitation of your privacy and stop acces to your phone!

Why does the end of this show an option to dismiss or "update software" as part of the alert? Why does the government emergency alert system need to update my phone software? 🤔

Turned my alerts off nearly two Years ago I'll be a bit annoyed if people know before me about a full scale nuclear attack. 🇬🇧

What about dumb phones?
Official figures suggest that dumb phones occupy about 5% to 10% of the market. A quick straw poll of my (admittedly largely elderly) neighbours would suggest 20%+.

I recently abandoned a perfectly fine iPhone because a charging port repair would have cost more than the phone was worth (not a rare experience I gather.)
I replaced it with a Nokia dumb phone when I realised that 99.9% of the features on a smartphone were crap I didn't want and certainly didn't need. My wife already - by choice - has a dumb phone.
Both phones can text and make phone calls. If there's anything else we need, we've yet to discover it.

Should I put my n95 mask on and book a booster shot? Or maybe make a donation to the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation? Modern life is so confusing.

This is to replace the 4min warning broadcast in the event of nuclear war.

Why doesn't the government's just tell the masses the truth about the masses' future instead of bull crapping and giving us cryptic crap to go on.
