I visited Portillo's in Scottsdale, AZ. Had to laugh as half the cars in the parking lot had IL license plates on them! I love Portillo's, and Al's Beef and Buona... Great stuff!!!

I'm from Chicago but live in Atlanta now I used to go to the Portillos in Bolingbrook!!! I lived there too!!! Truly miss the Italian Beef dipped with peppers amd the Chicago hot dog and the onion rings, Fiiieee!!!❤❤❤❤

The Italian beefs always hit. They are the best!! Especially with a side of fries. Their chocolate cake is also good.

Went to graduate school in Chicago and also lived there for approx. 15 years. Didn’t really eat many Italian beef sandwiches when I was there. But the other day I saw that there was a Portillo’s that opened up in my new city (Denton, TX) and decided to go. I got one of those beefs with the sausage. It was delicious. Now I regret not having more of these when I lived in Chicago.

The Portillos is not technically in LA but in OC (Orange County) i wish we had a portillos in LA but portillos is worth a drive and also right across the street from Knott’s Berry Farm so you can ride some rollercoasters and hit up portillos after for a complete day in case you don’t want to drive in 1 hr traffic just to to eat 😂

I've had Portillos in California Arizona Indiana Wisconsin and they all taste the same . That's what makes it a great restaurant. The hotdogs are great the Maxwell street polish is pretty good nothing like a original one from JT/Jim's JT is a Chicago thang ! The burgers are char broiled and good honestly don't sleep on da ribs either . Best deserts are all of them imo and gotta get a chocolate cake shake . Oh and get a combo too ! Italian beef and Italian sausage omg extra dipped sweet and hot with a splash of marinara
