"We are the science". Don't believe half of what you read, and question the other half before accepting it as fact.

This is because the system is broken:
1) the lack of scientific rigor by reviewers
2). The pressure to bend the rules for DEI and female inclusion- with significantly lowered standards;
3) the Harvard halo - wherein institutions are favored instead of the value to society;
4). Dubious disciplines of study in academia- which have no value in the actual market

Half of academia is simply useless leaving students with life long debt and no skills.

Great video but I think the pacing with the style of video is a bit odd. The editing makes it seem like it would be one of those hour-long deep dive video essays but then it's just a surface level 4-minute video.
