people say it doesnt work because its not fully functioning so thats why people are saying that. Why would people buy a $200 controller to not have the remappable paddles working on PC. Bad title. Wasted time watching this video

the issue people have is the paddles not working. It's advertised as a pro controller and you can't use the paddles on pc without buying dsx. Better off buying the regular stock ps5 controller and saving 140 if the pro parts of the controller do not work.

Still haven't been able to make steam recognize the controller, but I've heard others have. It won't pop up in steam, DS4, or ReWASD, but DSX seems to work flawless somehow. I think you need a PS5 in order for the controller to be recognized elsewhere. When you create profiles on PS5 its onboard memory seems to retain them between devices. But without a profile being created prior, it seems the Edge doesn't work properly on PC

I assume some sort of update takes place when you connect it to PS5 and/or make a custom profile, allowing it to then be recognized elsewhere. I've searched for weeks trying to figure it out for a video. I appreciate you making this, both the video and comments have been helpful

Hook it up to ps5 to configure the paddles first then you can play on pc just fine

Only works on steam. Can’t play fortnite, can’t play warzone, can’t play rocket league

Just connect your profile through the ps5 and you can use paddles

Just got this controller today and my paddles are working to whatever i set them to on ps5. Cannot change on pc.

It does if u know the config from ur ps5 just do it like u we’re playing the ps5 and the back buttons will work

Hmm, no.. FIRSTLY.. how do you CONFIGURE IT ON PC ?? It's a "Pro Controller" that you'd buy FOR THE FEATURES.. Otherwise, you already have the regular Dualsense.. OR.. M$'s official Elite Series Controllers.. Soo.. What's the point in using the.. "EDGE" on PC if it gives you NO EDGE.. ?

I think there's a way to get paddles to work but if they don't work along with the customizable profiles, that's like half of the price tag gone.

Misleading video title. It should have been called "The PS5 DualSense Edge WORKS on STEAM" which we all already knew it does...

00:26 Incorrect. Only steam. It doesn't work on any other launcher. The light won't turn blue. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt by testing it again on Battlenet and it didn't work.

Can anyone explain me, Today I get my Dualsense Edge, when I connect it with cable it works perfectly with Steam, but when I want to play Modern Warfare 2019 on Battle net my Edge doesn't work, but when I use my normal Dualsense it works perfectly with Battle net.
Can anyone explain me the Problem?

Does it connect well when trying to load games from microsoft or Bethesda studios. Also does it drift or lag when gaming? Want to get one but not sure how compatible it is with all other browsers besides steam

If you can’t use the paddles or fn buttons then the controller doesn’t work for PC……this was a wasted video lol
