Sony's DualSense Edge Wireless Pro Controller allows for button mapping and profile customization directly on the PS5. Setting up the back paddles on the controller allows you to never take your thumbs off the sticks when gaming for a competitive 'edge'.

If you already own a PS5, you won’t need DSX for your controller to work.

Now this is a legit DualSense Edge video! The last one I watched had a title saying "It works on PC!" and then went on to explain how none of the extra features worked on PC. So in essence it was just a normal PS5 controller. Call me crazy, that is not an Edge controller working in my eyes. Its only value above the normal controller are the damn features :P Splendid work man! I had no idea that there was a steam program you could buy to have this roller operate on full. I knew it worked because I saw someone using the paddles and stuff in Elden Ring (On PC), but I was confused as to how they managed to map it.

Just got the edge an if you are on the fence … don’t hesitate. Played cod an saw a huge difference in trigger response time, movement. The trigger sensitivity is a must game changer .

i love this controller, just got one today with kontrolfreek grips and thumbsticks, its amazing piece.
Just note to everyone YOU DO NOT NEED DSX, do not waste money on that scammy crap, the gamepad works with native support including profile swapping with almost all games i played on steam, including CoD, apex, OW, etc.

Is there a way to map the back paddles or I guess I should say…. I don’t want to assign buttons to the back paddles cuz I’m already using them all. I want to assign the back paddles to do their own thing. Having to “ x “ buttons doesn’t have any benefits for me.
