Kathryn, thank you for helping me see that I'm not a failure for having a cluttered house. Your quote, "If its not dirty enough to slow you down, it's clean enough" really hit home. I have 5 year old twin boys, a 13 year old daughter, a husband who works a lot, and I just transitioned to a new position working from home. I feel like I should be able to get more done now that I'm home, but I'm quickly seeing that's not the case. We are all busy and I try to not loose sight of what's important...my kids and watching them grow. The mess will always be there but the kids won't.

Love that saying “if it’s not dirty enough to slow you down then it’s clean enough”. I think I’ll keep that in mind when I’m overwhelmed by my house. ❤️❤️❤️

For the fridge baking soda: once it is “expired” and no longer absorbing odor, you could still use it for scrubbing your sink (just for abrasion) or keep the jar near your stove in case of a grease fire.

I was just talking to my sister about the new O'Cedar system a few weeks ago. She's had the original one for quite some time, and changes her water out constantly, because she cleans up after 3 big dogs and a cat...but she can't afford to buy the new system with the clean water reservoir. I can't wait to tell her about the little trash can insert idea! She will be so excited! Thanks for that hack, lovely lady! And thank you for all that you share with us...especially telling us 'You are enough!' I always need to hear that! ❤❤❤

Kathryn, you are so real! Thank you for always saying “You are enough.” It really helps in these complicated war and pandemic times!!

I’m part of the Take Your House Back on Facebook. 🙋‍♀️ 🦋 here! I’ve decluttered a whole lot. Now I’m in the organizing phase — which means, I’m also in the cleaning phase too. It will be my 1 year anniversary on May 1.

I love your videos! Thank you so much for contributing positivity TO so many of our lives!

You’re enough too, Kathryn!

Leslie ♥️

Honestly, Kathryn, you're the only person who can do a cleaning video of a toilet and still make it look good! You're also the only person who can make me look around my messy house and think oh yea I can do this! God bless you Girl, each one of your videos brings some sunshine into so many lives, my life for sure! Love and hugs from me and my two little mess monsters in ATL! (Too many exclamation marks, right? lol!)

As a recent empty nester, I can tell you, the time flies! My kids remember most the moments we had together. Not how clean the house was. I so appreciate all these tips because even I still get behind with my cleaning. I always watch until the end so I can sweetly hear you say that we are all enough. I do try to remember that done is better than perfect. Thanks Katherine!

As a mom of four, I love to see the clips where the kids are there. That's what my cleaning looks like every day! I love that you reminded us that it's ok to be "clean enough" and not to expect perfection at all times. It's very unrealistic to expect a perfectly clean house all the time and it sets us up for feeling like permanent failures. I agree that the we need to keep that perspective and celebrate what we ARE doing and focus less on what we haven't done . . .yet. We will get to those things when we can. ♥️

The message at the end! ❤ Especially when you have a chronic illness (MS) and you have to pick and choose what you juggle. Sometimes that means parenting takes precedence over prettying when it comes to housework. I always appreciate it extra when I see other people being real about this because it can be a struggle.

My house used to be clean and organized like yours. Life happened and chronic illness kicked in for several members of my family. They’ve never once said “Remember how clean and organized our house was?” They remember the fun times we’ve shared together. You can clean up things when it’s convenient but you cannot replace that time when one of your children wants to just sit and talk. That time is precious and limited. Take it from me who has been a super cleaner most of my adult life. You aren’t going to take your labeled cabinets with you or the smell of a freshly cleaned house. You will take with you the memories and love that you shared.❤️❤️❤️❤️

You hit the nail on the head-it’s enough. We sent out oldest at 18 to school and living in his own apartment 4 weeks ago-and our youngest is a junior in high school. It goes too fast- and it hurts. So don’t worry so much about cleaning-be present for your family. Once it changes it changes forever 💔💛

Oh my gosh! I'm an "imposter" crafter with a small cardmaking channel and I'm constantly second guessing myself and my creations. It's comforting to see established creators having those moments in their respected areas of expertise. I love your content and I've been watching you for years. Thank you so much for you kind, creative and budget friendly content. I always look forward to it.

I absolutely love how real you are. You never give the excuse that you are a Mom of two boys for why your house gets in disarray. One YouTuber in particular has to explain how she has three little girls that create messes in her house. But you are real and so personable. I love your channel.

Oh my goodness! You have no idea how much I love you! You are awesome. I have had my cedar mop for a year, which I got because of a previous video of yours. Last week I got a coupon in the mail for the new version with the separated water tank. I had been talking about wanting to separate my clean water from the dirty.... THIS HACK IS BRILLIANT! Sometimes you need someone to point out the obvious... lol.

I also really appreciate the encouraging words about if it doesn't stop you, it's clean enough. I think that's good to remember when the never ending tasks of house cleaning seem overwhelming. You are so wise, as always! Thank you!!

I just want to say, I've been watching your videos for almost two years now and every time I hear you end your videos I cry. I've struggled with my mental health my whole life and hearing you say it feels so sincere 😭 thank you for all your tips, tricks, and sharing your life with us through YouTube. And thank you for reminding me, each time, that I am enough. ❤️

I have used the "febreeze" knock off for 5 years now. I take care of parents (94 & 92). Their house smells like old people some days and this helps. I also use the oxy knock off instead of bleach. I am going to buy the mason jar flower lids and make my own fridge and freezer deodorizers. Thank you for the reminder each time that I am enough ❤️

I appreciate your positivity! I have a massage therapy business and have tons of positive affirmations and quotes hanging down from my ceiling that are like thought bubbles so as clients come in or when they leave they are walking right under or even into some of these thoughts...and so many just LOVE them. It's what we all need now. So I appreciate your effort to uplift. Keep it up Sweet Sister. :)
